Amanda Peterson

Amanda  was promoted to Managing Partner in January 2023. Amanda has dedicated her entire career to protecting the rights of consumers, individuals, and businesses against insurance companies and large corporations in a variety of matters. Amanda also has extensive experience litigating complex construction cases throughout multiple states, including property damage from adjacent construction, water infiltration, and substandard construction techniques.

Prior to joining the firm as a Senior Associate, Amanda worked at well-known first-party and construction law firms in Manhattan where she gained extensive hands-on experience in representing policyholders and property owners around the country in a variety of complex commercial litigations from pre-suit through trial.  Moreover, Amanda was an integral part of the trial team and received millions of dollars in verdicts for her clients. From this experience, Amanda became known for her expertise, knowledge, and commitment to her clients’ cases, as well as her aggressive and zealous advocacy techniques both inside and outside the courtroom.

In all of her cases, Amanda works closely with her clients, public adjusters, architects, engineers, forensic accountants, and other experts to thoroughly investigate her cases, which allows her to develop creative case strategies carefully designed to protect her clients’ interests. When Amanda takes on a case she gets personally invested as if each matter were her own and is always prepared to do battle against the insurance companies and any other large corporations.

Amanda is committed to providing the highest standard of client care and building close working relationships with her clients so that each client feels important, heard, and well-represented.

Outside of the office, Amanda enjoys exploring New York City, including strolling through Central Park, taking in a show, or trying a new restaurant.
